About us Vocal Cocktail is an a cappella group formed in 1995. Over the years they have developed an extensive repertoire ranging from classical polyphony, vocal jazz, international folk, and classical instrumental music repurposed for voice. They have given more than 200 concerts in Italy and abroad (Slovenia, Spain, Croatia, Germany). In addition to concerts, the group has participated in major choir competitions, collaborated with internationally renowned artists and is active in promoting modern a cappella music. Some stages of this journey: 2000 - Audience Award at the Seghizzi International Competition in Gorizia; 2005 - Band of Excellence in the 10th edition of the "Corovivo" Competition; 2007 - theater debut under the direction of L. Vermiglio in the show "A come..."; 2008 - alongside Milva in the world premiere performance of the monodrama "The Lüneburg Variant." 2009 - Band of Excellence in the 12th edition of the "Corovivo" Competition; 2009 and 2010 - Backing group of Jonathan Rathbone (Swingle Singers) in the international seminar "Light music: the other choral repertoire." 2012 - "Vocal Cocktail" the group's first album is released; 2014 - "A cappella made in Italy 2" (compilation spanning the Italian a cappella music scene) containing 2 singles by the group was released; 2015 - participate in the prestigious "Solevoci Festival" in Varese, chosen together with 6 other groups to represent contemporary Italian a cappella music; 2017 - opening concert of "Italian A Cappella Summit" highlight event of Viva Voce Festival in Treviso, which brought together the 10 most significant Italian a cappella groups. 2018 - debuted "In Search of the Lost Repertoire," a play that spans the Italian repertoire with original arrangements, directed by L. Vermiglio. 2019 - "Vocalitalia" the group's second album is released. 2021-third place at the Cantafestival de la bisiacaria with the unreleased "Bossa Marina." 2023 - debut in "Le Pizzocchere" directed by S. Lorusso The Vocal Cocktails are characterized by the beauty of the vocal impasto, the richness of the harmonies and the variety of the programs offered, which make their concerts suitable for all audiences.
